Crack 03:05
CRACK Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack in half? Who will be there when you crack in half? Not me, not me, not me. Not me, not me, not me. Crack. The words that are missing have facets the ones that are there cannot form. But uncut by the lapidary in your mouth they will never be born. We selfishly tired of waiting for diamonds to fall from your tongue. With the sharp edges gone you try to hang on as you bite your nails apart. As you bite your nails apart. Who will be there when the fractures appear and you crack? Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack? Who will be there when you crack in half? Who will be there when you crack in half? Not me, not me, not me. Not me, not me, not me. Crack.

Glass Bricks 04:31
GLASS BRICKS I try so hard to let go of the past and the things I thought I'd need are the things that didn't last. Every morning I wake up and see debris that life has left me. The things I thought were important are the things that just might disconnect me. I have to churn disgust so I can throw out nostalgic shit. Culled memories survive but then they sputter out and quit. And every evening I go out without old friends that should surround me while the street lamps hum a eulogy to the light polluted stars around me. Born to be abused, perpetually the one amused until I start to count the connections between myself and life's imperfections. The difference wasn't as far as I thought. I'd rather stay asleep than get up out of bed when the days that die descend from the deathless days ahead and every time I see a birthday card I fucking want to scream. It's not: "I've gotten older!" - I've been betrayed by what they're supposed to mean. Stop breathe a breath with me before we part deliberately, Too stupid to make corrections when we find we've lost our directions. And the distance wasn't as far as we thought between the nothing we'll have and the whatever-we-got. Everything will work out is the mantra of the damned. Everything will work out is the mantra of the damned. Everything will work out is that the best you planned for me, yeah you and me? Let it begin. I don't want to be the driveled name on the glass brick that you've surrounded yourself in so you can see out but no one can see in. So you can never lose but you can never win. You can never win. You can never win. You can never win. You can never win. Born to be abused, perpetually the one amused until you start to count the connections between yourself and life's imperfections. The difference wasn't as far as you thought as you stumble through life hoping you don't get caught. Everything will work out is that the best you planned for me?

GAURDIAN ANGEL A woman on a bridge drops one twin with the other one in her arms. As the second one hits the water she yells I didn't mean them any harm. They fish the first one out right away but they don't find the second one for days. There's no reason that the twin who lives isn't the twin who floats away. Give me an answer, give me reasons, for a world that's hideous cesspool. The daily news won't help you out and the nightly news won't help you out and your only hope is to wait and wait 'til you're gone. In the shallows of Lake Summit a mother drags her daughter and son away from shore. There's no miracle, no walking on water, no one that the laws of physics ignore. The mothers lead eyes blink and the son twists free but the daughter descends in shock. Fate is a lake, is a river, is a womb, is a horrible watery chopping block. Give me one reason not to be pissed 'cause the world is a hideous shithole. The daily news won't help you out and the nightly news won't help you out and your only hope is to wait and wait 'til you're gone. My guardian angel wants to smother you with its wings and send you into the guiding light that only eternity brings. My guardian angel wants to beat the shit out of you, it's nothing that you have said or done and it's nothing that you will do. You'll be gone. Gone, gone, gone, gone.

Mr. Reeves 02:30
MR. REEVES Mr. Reeves is in a bad way; he is floating in the water outside your fire-escape door and all the gang graffiti says that you can't drown if you're already dead. Mr. Reeves knows there is nothing more. Except the secret to life is: Love is immortal. It survives through infection from mother to child and from lover to lover - it's a war of attrition because maceration evens out the score. Mr. Reeves is in the sunlight and he is drying and supporting all your hope with his brittle backbones. And if he doesn't seem to care it's because he already made it there where Mr. Reeves is finally at home. And so the secret to life is not worth repeating. Life is too fleeting. From mother to child and from lover to lover - It’s a war of attrition because maceration evens out the score.

KATHY'S AFFECTIONS Kathy's affections roll under the door again. She's not listening, she's got a new friend. It's in her belly and she is talking to herself again. It's the only way to get back to the real world that she's hiding from. I can't help her come. Kathy's parents are yelling at the door again. It's like a love affair. Why won't she let them in? Don't cut it cross-wise, cut it length-wise. The only thing that changes is you. Kathy's affections roll under the door again. She's not listening, she's got a new friend. It's in her belly and she is talking to herself again. It's the only way to get back to the real world that she's hiding from. I can't help her come. Kathy's parents believe in Christ-Our-Lord. There's nothing wrong with that, but Christ won't help you out when you are bored. Don't cut it cross-wise, cut it length-wise. The only thing that changes is you.

OEDIPUS REX APPLAUSE The sickly sitcom starlet strikes a match, it's her last. She is lying in the gutter with her Hans Christian Andersen back stage pass. In the shadow of the prison two lover's tongues entwine. They are vomiting up their promises and drinking 'em down like wine. And I got another news flash sensation. It's the same for anyone in any situation - turn and face the sun that's setting on everyone. I believe that you believe that it's gonna get better somehow. But the geiger counter's a clickin' and the chemotherapy's a drippin' and you're gonna have to face it now. You gotta turn and face the sun that's setting on everyone. And the same thing applies as you're poking out your eyes - you can't turn off the past with your Oedipus Rex applause.

FLAVOR FOR EVERY TASTE Like porn on your TV set or a poet with tourettes, it's filthy and it's beautiful all at the same time and I want to take you home to change your mind. Like Michael Jackson in the surgeon's chair or a tampon in your trash from you don't know where, it's intriguing and repulsive all at the same time and I want to take you home to change your mind. You're finding reasons that you shouldn't go. You're believing that you’re needing something else that you gotta know; well my intentions aren't pure but there's something else that matters more I know there's something that you have never faced - there's a flavor for every taste. Like a nicotine free cigarette or when you laugh at a joke that you didn't get it's pointless and harmless so why not give it a try and I want to take you home - I won't make you cry. Like a she-male suffragette or a bill from a whore you haven't out-called yet it's amusing and confusing all at the same time and I want to take you home to change your mind. You're finding reasons that you shouldn't go. You're believing that you’re needing something else that you gotta know; well my intentions aren't pure but there's something else that matters more our bodily fluids should never go to waste - there's a flavor for every taste.

THE LINDA LOVELACE MEMORIAL FUND Call girls, broken junkies and disposessed housewives wipe the tears from their eyes the day that Linda Lovelace dies. It's hard to know when someone passes that's worth more than me or you and it's hard to tell when someone matters but what's a guy like me supposed to do? It's trite to laugh at someone else's pain, it's never right but go ahead and do it anyway. It's impolite to point at mortal remains, it's never right but you can do it now for your own gain. Reprobates, porn addicts, freaks, and acne ridden teens wipe away the wet spot from all their sickly fevered dreams. It's hard to know when someone passes that's worth more than me or you and it's hard to tell when someone matters but what's a guy like me supposed to do? It's trite to laugh at someone else's pain, it's never right but go ahead and do it anyway. I can't believe the heartless things you say, it's never right but go ahead and do it anyway. The Linda Lovelace Memorial Fund. Can you smell her body burning? The cremation it is turning out to be so entertaining, choking on flaming bits of ash. And as the irony's receeding there's something that you'll be needing to beg forgiveness with your nominal sums of cash: The Linda Lovelace Memorial Fund.

MALTHUSIAN SECOND HELPINGS New hope for starving children and it’s so hard to laugh as the light in your eyes takes a second class trip. And the light never ends - it just goes on and on. You can go where you like but it'll still be there after you are gone. Won't you help me understand the plan where all your random acts of kindness don’t add up to shit. And me, I’m on the other side where the angels hide with the chosen few... which doesn’t include you. New hope for starving children and it’s so hard to laugh as the light in your eyes takes a second class trip. Where I'm meant to be, where I'm meant to be, where I'm meant to be - is where I am now.

KARMIC BLACK HOLE Take another peice of me when you lie and cheat. Take another peice of me, carve off a slab of meat. Thieve whatever you need and do it gradually. Waste another human being, chalk up a casualty. You're a fucking liar. You do it to yourself. And all the pain inside you comes indirect through someone else who has to suffer for your sins because you're a karmic black hole. No one can escape the evil field that you generate. Karmic black hole. Wet carcinogenic vital organs on a paper plate. Take another peice of me when you lie and cheat. Slice another peice of me, carve off a slab of meat. Thieve whatever you need and do it casually. Waste another human being, create a casualty. You're a fucking liar. You do it to yourself. And all the pain inside you comes indirect through someone else who has to suffer for your sins because you're a karmic black hole. Noone can escape the evil field that you generate. Karmic black hole. Wet carcinogenic vital organs on a paper plate. You'll probably get away with it 'cause consequences can't escape your karmic black hole. You'll get with it, you'll get away with it but everyone that you love will never survive all of your lies.

LITTLE MS. DEPACOTE Little Ms. Depacote sparkles as she walks into the richard corey arms control talks. As everybody's gaze looked away from the beauty of despair her natural gas self-cleaning oven got caught up in her hair as she placed her head inside it to see how things looked in there. It's the little things in life that make it so horrible to bare. There can be no decay without rust. There can be no love without trust. There can be no decay without dust. Come into the clutches of hope in the shadow of your breath. The only defense is to pretend each one is all that's left. All that's left. All that's left. All that's left. Benidict Arnold has climbed inside my brain and the desire to be a traitor it is driving me insane. As everybody's gaze looks away from the beauty of deciet I will wake to find the perfect stranger lying in my sheets. The perfect stranger is the only one that makes me feel whole; complete. It's the little things in life that make the suffering descrete.

WELCOME TO BALTIMORE Shit inside us. Homemade tinitus. Robot advice supposed to guide us. Here. It’s the promised land. Cheap warehouse space, lead paint and no one cares if you live or die, vegetate or create there. Pacify me. Euthinize me. I don’t care if you have to lie to me. It’s the promised land. Holding hands until we suffocate. Isn’t it great? Welcome to Baltimore. We’ve done backstabbing. Namedrop attacking. It’s helped us get to nowhere fast. The one’s with brains all move away. But we’ll stay, grow old, get real jobs, rest in peace.

Why Ask Why? 06:10
WHY ASK WHY? What will satisfy the twins seperated at birth never to meet again? As history lays itself bare every actuarial turns out to be fair. All the Joan Benet Ramses merge and form a common bond over bad mascara, pre-school beauty pageants, lipstick smears are magnets for the pedofiles who spend sleepless nights alone and cry and linger in the shopping ailes and who need to die. why ask why? why ask why? What will split the continents apart and fill the atmosphere back up with ash? As history repeats and burns desire shame and revenge take turns. All the Joan Benet Ramses merge and form a common bond over bad mascara, fake eyelashes and blue ribbon smiles are magnets for the pedofiles who spend sleepless nights alone and cry and linger in the shopping ailes and who need to die. The parole board has notified the PTA and the civic center and all the mothers want to make him move away. 'Cause mothers know the cause of all the headshots on school lunch milkboxes. 1-800 and "have you seen this face today?" Why ask why? Why ask why? It's funny how we find fear in unknowns while the most dangerous things are right there in our homes. Uncles and neighbors and proud fathers too with chromosomes bent and desires askew. Over the fields and through the woods.
